Team in Kentucky to receive Safety and Health Award

March 31, 2016 — Congratulations to our distribution-center employees in Walton, Kentucky, for earning a Kentucky State Governor’s Safety and Health Award. We just learned that the team will have the opportunity to accept the award later this spring.

Employees at the facility have worked more than 2,300 days (6.3 years) without a lost-time accident. They have had only one lost-time accident in the last 11.4 years.

Safety is our top priority as a company and the distribution center's general manager, Jim Goss, credits his team’s dedication and hard work for this outstanding achievement. He said much of the team’s success has come through safety awareness, training and reinforcement.
