Edwards® desserts launch three new products

Oct. 20, 2021 — As consumers continue to reach for decadent desserts, our Edwards® brand from Schwan’s Consumer Brands, Inc. will be there to satisfy the need. Recently, the brand launched three new desserts that include the Edwards Lemon Crème, Edwards Berry Cheesecake and Edwards Chocolate Cheesecake.

“We are very excited for this year’s flight of innovation,” said Daniel Hegg, marketing manager of frozen desserts.

“Our Lemon Crème, which was co-created with pastry chef expert Chef Jasmine Weiser of our Schwan’s Chef Collective, provides a fresh twist on a familiar favorite that we really think will appeal to a younger consumer.  Our cheesecake flavors, chocolate and berry, will help expand our cheesecake portfolio and add more variety to the category.”  

The new desserts being added to the Edwards brand line-up, include:

  • Edwards Lemon Crème Pie, co-created with Schwan’s Chef Collective pastry expert Chef Jasmine Weiser, features refreshing layers of lemon crème pie infused with pockets of tangy lemon filling on top of a fresh-baked cookie crumb crust. Edwards Lemon Crème Pies are available as a full pie or individually sliced two-pack.  
  • Edwards Chocolate Whipped Cheesecake features balanced whipped layers of chocolate cheesecake and classic cheesecake on a fresh-baked cookie crumb crust and sweet chocolate chunk toppings.
  • Edwards Berry Whipped Cheesecake features a decadent whipped cheesecake featuring ribbons of blackberry and raspberry swirl on top of a fresh-baked cookie crumb crust.
