Welcome summer intern class of 2022

 

June 16, 2022 — We are excited to announce that our summer internship program has officially kicked off for 2022! This year, we are hosting 26 students from across the country as they take the next step in their professional journeys.

“We are so excited to have our intern program back in person across all functions,” said Allison McMahon, campus recruiter. “We are thrilled to be providing them with real-world, hands-on experiences that will help them learn more about leading themselves first and be a driving force for good within the company and in their own lives. Our goal is to help them realize how they like to spend their minutes and to provide them with an enriching experience that will serve as the foundation of their career journeys.”

The main goal of Schwan’s Company’s summer internship program is to provide meaningful learning and development opportunities so that interns can gain a better understanding of how they would like to pursue their careers after school. The program is mutually beneficial as it is also a primary driver of the company’s recruiting strategy for entry-level roles. When students join the internship program, the company is also striving to provide the best possible on-the-job and development experience that will lead them to choose Schwan’s as their employer of choice upon graduation.

Throughout the summer, the interns will be involved in several company-culture activities, professional-development exercises, engagement opportunities and connections with top leaders.
