Nov. 13, 2017 — With the holiday season nearly here, it is time to start meal planning and entertaining with foods from Schwan’s Home Service, Inc. In our recently released November/December Shopping Guide, there are newly added foods for the family as well as creative recipes for entertaining guests throughout the holidays.

New to the November/December Shopping Guide

• Southwest Style Burrito. This Schwan’s® product delivers a zesty and bold experience right from the freezer. The burrito features a soft and flaky flour tortilla filled with seasoned ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese sauce, hearty pinto and refried beans, vegetables and savory rice.
• Signature™ Fire-Braised Pork. This pork is fall-apart tender and adaptable to many favorite recipes and meals such as pot roasts, sandwiches and tacos. It is fully cooked and can go directly from the freezer to the slow cooker and oven. No thawing is required.
• Peppermint Stick Ice Cream. This product features rich and creamy vanilla ice cream that is loaded with peppermint candy pieces. The festive holiday treat is Schwan’s Home Service’s most popular seasonal ice cream.
• French Vanilla Ice Cream. This French Vanilla Ice Cream is made with real cream and natural vanilla flavor. It’s rich, smooth and creamy with no artificial colors or flavors.

Holiday meal-planning made simple

Schwan’s Home Service also created a special holiday destination located at www.Schwans.com/holiday, where customers can purchase complete meals for groups. The holiday meals include:

• Holiday meal for six. This package includes Signature Ready-to-Roast Turkey Breast, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, MicroSteam Whole Green Beans, French Baguette and Traditional Pumpkin Pie.
• Holiday meal for 10. This package includes Signature Spiral-Sliced Bone-In Ham, Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Southern-Style Biscuits, Super-Sweet Corn, Signature Old-Fashioned Apple Pie, Petite Brussels Sprouts and French Vanilla Ice Cream.

Visitors can also click and create their own meal plan from a variety of Schwan’s foods. Options include center-of-the-plate entrees, sides and dessert.
