Employees honored with Schwan’s most prestigious award

March 29, 2018 — Schwan’s Company CEO Dimitrios Smyrnios recently joined other company leaders to recognize four Schwan’s employees with the Marvin Schwan Excellence Award.

This year’s recipients include: Jon Conley, who works in Fennimore, Wisconsin; Shannon Lenz, who works in Marshall, Minnesota; Mark Burt, who works in Phoenix, Arizona; and James Baird, who works in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

The award, named after the company’s founder, was established in 1994 to recognize employees who best demonstrate our values of “Growth, Hard Work, Helping One Another, Enthusiasm and Integrity” and exemplify the culture we aspire to each and every day. It is the company’s most prestigious honor.

So far, 81 people have been recognized with the honor, including our four newest recipients, who were presented the award during the company’s leadership meeting in the Twin Cities area.

We thank all of the recipients for their outstanding efforts and for serving as great role models for all of us who work for Schwan’s subsidiaries.
