CEO Dimitrios Smyrnios and respective executive leaders recently presented the awards during online department team meetings. The award recipients were also announced broadly in a virtual company-wide, town-hall meeting.
“Congratulations to all of the winners. I am grateful. I am proud of your leadership, and I am proud you are a part of our team,” Dimitrios said after the awards were announced.
Recipients of this year’s award include:
- Jessica Longshore, senior director of field sales strategy for Consumer Brands.
- Tarun Motwani, director of process engineering for Research and Development.
- Tony Moravec, maintenance manager in Salina, Kansas.
- Teresa Penn, senior marketing manager for Food Service.
- Julie Hartle, senior director of business relationship management for Information Services.
The Founders’ Award recognizes employees who demonstrate our company’s principles of “Integrity, Passion, Creativity and Respect,” and whose actions help the company achieve our core value of OnlyOne (to be the first, best or different in the marketplace).
Nominations for this year's recipients were submitted in 2019. Honorees will receive an award and a monetary prize. Individual posts about each award recipient will follow.
