March 22, 2016 — The Marvin Schwan Excellence Award is The Schwan Food Company’s most prestigious employee honor. It was established in 1994 (originally the Heritage of Quality Award) to recognized employees who best demonstrate our values of “Growth, Hard Work, Helping One Another, Enthusiasm and Integrity” and exemplify the culture we try to achieve each and every day.So far, 72 people have been recognized with the honor, including our five newest recipients, who were presented the award recently by Schwan CEO Dimitrios Smyrnios and our business unit leaders.
We send our congratulations out to our latest recipients, who include: Jerry Sloan, who works out of Shelbyville, Kentucky; Michelle Michelson, who works from Marshall, Minnesota; James “Shorty” Daniel, who works in Lancaster, New York; Melanie Carlson, who works in Marshall, Minnesota; and Jennifer Brantley, who works in Atlanta, Georgia.
