Ice Cream Sandwich Cake |

This is a simple layered creation made with ice cream sandwiches and then topped with your favorite crushed candy. Varied candy colors can be featured depending on the holiday or special occasion. This is also an easy recipe to add birthday candles with holders to for a birthday cake.
Ingredients include:
- A 10 ounce bag of candy-coated chocolate or peanut-butter pieces, coarsely chopped.
- 12 Schwan’s® Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches.
- A 6.5 ounce can of white or chocolate aerosol whipped cream.
- Place candy pieces in plastic bag and strike with heavy spoon to coarsely chop.
- Place 4 ice cream sandwiches, long sides touching on a flat serving plate. Squirt an even layer of whipped cream over top, making sure whipped cream extends to outside edges for best appearance.
- Sprinkle 1/3 cup chopped candy pieces on whipped cream.
- Repeat layers twice. Garnish top as desired.
- Freeze 3 hours or until firm. Cut with serrated knife.
Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert |

This recipe features yummy layers of rich chocolate wafers filled with creamy vanilla ice cream that are smothered with a peanut butter chocolate sauce and topped with whipped topping and a sprinkling of crunchy, salty nuts.
Ingredients include:
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter.
- 1 package of Schwan’s Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches.
- 1 carton (12 ounces) whipped topping.
- 1 cup salted peanuts.
- Microwave chocolate sauce and peanut butter in microwave-safe bowl for 1 to 2 minutes to make it spreadable. Stir and set aside to cool. Save a little for garnishing top of cake.
- Place half of the ice cream sandwiches into a 9- by 13-inch pan.
- Spread half of the peanut butter chocolate mixture, whipped topping and peanuts over sandwiches.
- Repeat layers. Cover and freeze for 1 hour or until firm.

- 6 cups of Schwan’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream, softened.
- This recipe can be made with a variety of Schwan’s ice cream flavors.
- 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed.
- ½ cup chocolate covered candy pieces and sprinkles.
- Stand sandwich pieces up around edge of a 9-inch spring form pan.
- Fill in center and gaps between sandwiches with softened ice cream.
- Freeze for 8 hours or overnight to set.
- Remove outer edge of pan.
- Garnish with whipped topping and candy pieces and sprinkles.
