Our story in making beverages first began in 1957, when the company began offering Vita-Sun juice concentrates on delivery trucks. The juice became such a popular item that the company’s founder, Marvin Schwan, decided to purchase the Vita-Sun company in 1965.
Within six months, the new plant was bottling 1,000 half-gallon containers of flavored concentrates per hour. While we currently do not offer juice on our delivery routes, beverage production is still going strong at our facility in Marshall, Minnesota.
Today, employees at the facility are less focused on juice concentrates, but they have great capabilities in making smoothies and pouched beverages. They also have vast experience in making fillings, ice cream variegates, sherbet, purees, flavorings, syrups and sauces.
