Items donated included pizza, Edwards® pies, egg rolls frozen fruits and vegetables and other assorted items. All of the products donated are safe to eat, but cannot be sold on the market for reasons such as missed specifications or discontinuations.
In addition to our food donations, our teams across the country have volunteered their time with food banks in the Feeding America network to help support the communities that support us.
Our company entered into an official partnership with Feeding America in 2011 where it was designated as our charity of choice. Doing so not only helped our team to centrally focus charitable works and ensure consistency throughout our organization, but it also provided a way for our employees to positively engage in a common cause to help their communities.
