May 17, 2017 — Thanks to our Edwards® team, consumers can now enjoy a classic summer treat without the sticky fingers. Earlier this month, the team launched the new Edwards® S’mores Crème Pie, which is available as a whole pie as well as in a two-pack of single slices.
“S’mores is emerging as a top dessert flavor, and we are thrilled to launch it at a time when the trend is just taking off,” said Ryan Titus, associate brand marketing manager.
According to Dataessentials Keynote research in 2016, S’mores is one of the fastest growing flavors on restaurant dessert menus and has increased by 66 percent over the last four years on dessert menus.
The new Edwards® S’mores Crème Pie starts with a freshly baked vanilla cookie crumble crust with a layer of smooth chocolate crème filling and graham-style cookie pieces, and topped with a fluffy, toasted marshmallow flavored meringue and decadent chocolate drizzle.
