Schroeder talks about 40 years of growth with Schwan’s

"Schwan's People You Need to Know" is an ongoing series of stories that share some of our employees' experiences as we celebrate our 65^th anniversary and participate as a founding partner of the Minnesota Super Bowl 52 Host Committee. 

March 8, 2018 — In this video installment of our “Schwan's People You Need to Know” series, Schwan’s Food Service’s Vice President of Operations Lil Schroeder talks about why she has stayed with the company for 40 years.

“Obviously, I love the company, but it has been the people (and) the relationships. People care about each other,” Lil said, adding that she has also enjoyed the constant change and evolution of the company. “It has created a lot of opportunities for people to grow and develop.”

Lil joined Schwan’s 40 years ago as a sales record clerk for what was known as the wholesale bookkeeping department. Today, she manages several teams within the company’s food-service division, which focuses on providing foods to food-service venues such as school cafeterias, convenience stores and restaurants.
