Bibigo® products and team members take on VeeCon

May 27, 2022 — Employees who support our Bibigo® product line had a blast this weekend at the first-ever VeeCon, which was hosted at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Developed by Entrepreneur and VaynerX Chairman Gary Vaynerchuk, VeeCon is a multi-day conference attracting thousands of people from around the globe. The four-day event included welcoming festivities and a pitch competition from Minnesota-based start-ups, keynote speeches from icons in their respective industries, innovative and educational talks, panels and Q&A sessions focused on the future of NFTs (non-fungible tokens), Web3.0, digital marketing, branding, storytelling as well as collaborative experiences among attendees.

A first-of-its-kind event, all attendees at VeeCon needed to prove ownership of one of Vaynerchuk’s VeeFriends NFTs, which allows for access to VeeCon in its first three years. Or, they must have purchased a VeeCon NFT, which was good for access to this year’s event.

Schwan’s was an official partner of the event, which allowed access for employees to attend and learn more about what is to come in the world of Web3.0 and NFTs and allowed Schwan’s to showcase Bibigo products.

“While we know food and beverage companies cannot survive purely based on selling virtual versions of their products, NFTs will provide a new platform to raise awareness, engage customers and promote their brands,” said Roberto Rios, chief marketing officer. “The brands that find the correct methods of engaging with consumers, be it through NFTs, in a metaverse or through e-sports are going to win.”

Our Bibigo products were featured at a special happy hour the first night of VeeCon, where attendees were treated to an array of Bibigo product favorites, like our GOTCHU Sauce, Crunchy Chicken, Fried Rice, Mandu and Fried Mini Wontons.

“Our team is grateful to have had the opportunity to attend this event, where we were able to engage with so many bright individuals within the VeeFriends community,” said Roberto. “We’re also excited to see how Gary’s passion for this new territory comes to life these next few years.
