Aug. 17, 2017 — Members of Schwan’s Chef Collective recently conducted their second Taste Tour for the year. This time the team visited the Big Apple and worked with Chef Adrienne Cheatham, who joined our employees for cooking tutorials and explored new recipes with favorite foods from Schwan’s Home Service.

Taste Tours present an opportunity for Schwan’s Chef Collective to immerse in a new market and new cuisine while collaborating on easy-to-make recipes and “how-to” tips that inspire consumers to take action in their own kitchens. Previous Taste Tours have included Chef Jet Tila at his home in Los Angeles, California; Chef Todd Erickson at his restaurant in Miami, Florida; and Chef Katie Lee Collier at her restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri.
Chef Adrienne Cheatham was
the featured Schwan's Chef
Collective member during
a recent Taste Tour in New
York City.

Schwan's team members who participated in the Taste Tour included Chef Deb Hey, Home Service’s Senior Marketing Director Stacie Dudy, Marketing Communication Manager Liz Zahler and Culinary Initiatives Manager Lauren Halgerson.

Chef Deb and Adrienne collaboratively developed recipes and tips inspired by Chef Adrienne’s cooking style — a New York twist in southern-comfort classics. Products used were from Schwan’s Home Service and included Signature™ Chicken Breast Fillets, Signature Boneless Pork Loin Chops, Schwan’s® Jumbo Cooked Tail-On Shrimp, Schwan’s Oven-Roasted Chicken Wings with BBQ Dry Rub Seasoning and Schwan’s Guacamole.

Some of the recipes created included Breaded Pork with Asparagus Salad, Shrimp Tostada with Guacamole and Lime and Spicy BBQ Wings. Recipes are aimed to be easy and approachable to the home cook and have broad family appeal.

Be sure to stay tuned to Schwan's Home Service and the Schwan's Chef Collective this fall as they release official cooking tutorials and recipes from the New York City Taste Tour.
